FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Who needs to file an income tax return in Pakistan?
Generally, anyone whose taxable income exceeds the exempt limit, every company and AOP, and people who own certain property or vehicles or hold specified assets. Many people also file simply to be on the Active Taxpayers List and pay lower filer rates.
What is a wealth statement and do I need one?
A wealth statement lists your assets, liabilities and personal expenses at the end of the tax year. Individuals filing a return are generally required to file one, and it must reconcile with your income so that the unreconciled amount is zero.
Do I need to visit your office?
No. The whole process can be done online: you share documents digitally, approve the draft, and we file through IRIS and send you the acknowledgement.
Can you file returns for previous years?
Yes. We file late and previous-year returns and can help with any notices received for non-filing.
I received a notice from FBR. Can you help?
Yes. Share the notice with us and we will explain it, prepare the required response and submit it within the deadline.
Is my information kept confidential?
Yes. Your personal and financial information is kept strictly confidential and used only to prepare and file your return.
